I recently purchased both versions of the Blokees Iron Man Mark L figurine and I’d like to talk about them today!

My Blokees Iron Man Mark L figurines.
What are Blokees?
People use the word Blokees in different ways. First, Blokees is a company that produces collectible plastic model figurines. These figurines have the Blokees brand and are referred to as Blokees themselves. At the time of this writing, the most popular Blokees are the Transformers line. But Blokees has been exploring other licenses, coming up with other series like Ultraman and Pokemon. Check out the official Blokees website for more information about them.
This year (2025), Blokees released the Marvel Infinity Saga Superhero Series 03 line of figurines. The Blokees Iron Man Mark L figurine that I’ll be reviewing today is part of the Marvel Infinity Saga Superhero Series 03 line. Note that Marvel Blokees are blind boxes – you don’t know what figurine you’ll get until you open it.
Blokees Marvel General Stuff
The Blokees Marvel Infinity Saga Superhero Series 03 figurines are very similar to each other. Most of the figurines use the same parts for the chest and torso internals, arms, and legs. So, what can be said about a specific figure in terms of assembly and articulation also applies to other figurines in the same line. A Blokees Marvel figure comes disassembled inside a sealed opaque package. All the pieces are already cut and either colored or pre-painted. Even decals are already attached, so all you need to do is put the pieces together. Series 03 has the improved knee joints from Series 02 that offers better leg articulation. In Series 03, these knee joints are already assembled out of the box, which is worth mentioning because they were hard to put together.

Having fun with my Marvel Blokees figurines.
Anyone used to Blokees figures should find assembly to be an easy task. There isn’t a need to attach any decals or stickers since they already come attached to the parts. With the amount of Blokees experience under my belt, assembling the rest of the figure parts was very easy. One minor issue that I have is that it’s quite easy for a part to get dislodged, especially when posing them. But these figurines are meant for display and not for any rough play. Any part that’s dislodged during posing or handling can easily be put back again.
These Marvel Blokees figures also have decent articulation, which I didn’t expect for a small figurine that requires assembly. There are hinge joints for the knees and elbows, and ball-and-socket joints for the shoulders, wrists, hips, and ankles. The neck piece allows for the head to have some rotation. When assembled, these Marvel Blokees figures are definitely poseable.
Version Differences
In case you’re not aware, there are two versions of Iron Man Mark L in Series 3, a common one and the Secret Chase. Both versions are in metallic red. The common version has its pieces come in metallic red color which still looks like plastic despite having that metallic sheen. Meanwhile, the Secret Chase looks like it is coated in metallic plating. The difference in color is quite noticeable. This is important to note because when you swap parts between them, the swapped parts stand out.

The common version is on the left while the Secret Chase is on the right.
Why would you want to swap parts? Well, the Secret Chase has a cannon for its right arm and doesn’t come with \alternate parts. If you put the common version’s right arm onto the Secret Chase, the color difference will be obvious. It is also worth mentioning that the common version comes with three pairs of hands. It has closed fists, palms out, and neutral hands. The Secret Chase only has the set of left hands.

Both figurines in fighting stances.
The Secret Chase also has some back attachments that are meant to be attached. If you take them out, there’ll be holes that don’t look good. Personally, I don’t mind having them attached but I prefer the figurine without them as they sometimes get in the way of flight stands and storage boxes. Now, you’ll have to forgive me if I get this wrong since it’s been more than a month since I had my figurines but I think the Secret Chase does not come with energy blasts while the common version has two. And one final difference: the Secret Chase has blue eyes while the common version has white.
Appearance and Details
I don’t expect one-to-one accuracy with the reference material, but I still expect these figurines to be close to what they are representing. Blokees Iron Man Mark L is obviously based on Iron Man from Avengers: Infinity War, where he used this specific armor.

Blokees has surely come a long way since their Infinity War Series 01 figures. You can really see the effort they took to make the Iron Man Mark L figurines match the actual armor. It has the gold parts at the collarbone, below the chest, and at the waist area. The torso has similar silver lines. And the arc reactor has some engraved patterns that help avoid making it look too plain.

The upper body of both Iron Man Mark L figurines.
Instead of using the generic upper arm mold, Blokees Iron Man Mark L has its own upper arm where the linings of the armor are molded into the part. Blokees used to use decals to represent any arm patterns so this was a pleasant surprise. Blokees also improved their approach to forearms. They are a lot more slender now, unlike figures from Series 01 and 02.

Both figurines viewed from the side.
I wish I could say the same for the legs but Blokees Iron Man Mark L has the same generic thigh parts. They have decals that recreate the gold and silver panels of the source. The front of the legs have silver linings that also attempt to match the source armor.

Both figurines have the same leg patterns.
The weakest areas of both Blokees Iron Man Mark L figurines are the back side. The upper back still looks great, with the piece molded with contours that do look like what Iron Man’s armor would have, with matching gold and silver parts. From the torso down, it’s all plain metallic red, all the way down to the feet.

I’ve seen people say that they didn’t like seeing more Iron Man figurines in Infinity Saga Series 03 but I’m glad to have these Iron Man Mark L figures. They’re a lot better than the previous Iron Man figurines. And they actually made me want to see re-releases of the Mark LXXXV and the Mark VII figures.
Conclusion
Both Blokees Iron Man Mark L figurines look really good and really show that Blokees is invested in improving their model kits over time. However, there’s one thing that I don’t like about both figurines. I didn’t like how the common version comes in a different type of metallic red because its parts aren’t fully compatible with the other Iron Man figurines. Meanwhile, I wish the Secret Chase had an alternate right arm so that you could replace the cannon with it and have a full set of right hands.

“I’m sorry, Earth is closed today!”
Unlike in Infinity Saga Series 01 where the Secret Chase is the Iron Man figure to get, there isn’t a straightforward choice with these two Mark L versions. If you want a figurine that offers more choices for poses, you’ll want the common version. If you want the shinier Iron Man and don’t mind being stuck with his cannon, the Secret Chase will make you happy. Personally, I want both in my collection. Whatever complaints I have really just held back this figurine from being perfect in my eyes. They’re not perfect, but they’re very good for the price.
