I recently purchased a Blokees Captain America figurine and I’d like to talk about it today!

What are Blokees?

People use the word Blokees in different ways. First, Blokees is a company that produces collectible plastic model figurines. These figurines have the Blokees brand and are referred to as Blokees themselves. At the time of this writing, the most popular Blokees are the Transformers line. But Blokees has been exploring other licenses, coming up with other series like Ultraman and Pokemon. Check out the official Blokees website for more information about them.

This year (2025), Blokees released the Marvel Infinity Saga Superhero Series 03 line of figurines. The Blokees Captain America figurine that I’ll be reviewing today is part of the Marvel Infinity Saga Superhero Series 03 line. Note that Marvel Blokees are blind boxes – you don’t know what figurine you’ll get until you open it.

Blokees Marvel General Stuff

The Blokees Marvel Infinity Saga Superhero Series 03 figurines are very similar to each other. Most of the figurines use the same parts for the chest and torso internals, arms, and legs. So, what can be said about a specific figure in terms of assembly and articulation also applies to other figurines in the same line. A Blokees Marvel figure comes disassembled inside a sealed opaque package. All the pieces are already cut and either colored or pre-painted. Even decals are already attached, so all you need to do is put the pieces together. Series 03 has the improved knee joints from Series 02 that offers better leg articulation. In Series 03, these knee joints are already assembled out of the box, which is worth mentioning because they were hard to put together.

Having fun with my Marvel Blokees figurines.

Anyone used to Blokees figures should find assembly to be an easy task. There isn’t a need to attach any decals or stickers since they already come attached to the parts. With the amount of Blokees experience under my belt, assembling the rest of the figure parts was very easy. One minor issue that I have is that it’s quite easy for a part to get dislodged, especially when posing them. But these figurines are meant for display and not for any rough play. Any part that’s dislodged during posing or handling can easily be put back again.

These Marvel Blokees figures also have decent articulation, which I didn’t expect for a small figurine that requires assembly. There are hinge joints for the knees and elbows, and ball-and-socket joints for the shoulders, wrists, hips, and ankles. The neck piece allows for the head to have some rotation. When assembled, these Marvel Blokees figures are definitely poseable.

Appearance and Details

I don’t expect one-to-one accuracy with the reference material, but I still expect these figurines to be close to what they are representing. There’s no question that Series 03 Blokees Captain America is based on the version from Avengers: Infinity War.

This Blokees Captain America is very accurate when compared to what it is referencing, with a view minor omissions. Starting with the head, this figurine matches unmasked Steve Rogers. Its got slicked up dark brown hair, a mustache and a full beard. The chest comes in a dark shade of blue. The star logo and linings are engraved into the chest piece, with leather straps on both sides. The stripes on the torso are in a really dark shade of red, representing that it was darkened.

Cap’s upper body.

This darkening effect is what’s inaccurate with this figurine, actually. The actual costume looks like it is darker because someone spray painted it black (I don’t want to think that Steve Rogers never washed his costume since Civil War). This resulted in the torso looking really dirty on the actual costume, as well as some white still showing on the chest. This unclean effect isn’t on Blokees Captain America, with any white being absent on the chest and none of the black scuffs are on the torso. This issue can easily be fixed with a little paint, but it is quite minor and I don’t think anyone would mind the errors.

Blokees Captain America’s arms are similar to each other, with the upper arm also in dark blue. Each shoulder has some decals that imitate the patches and red straps of the actual costume. The lower arms come in a flesh color, with some blue painted on them that extends Cap’s sleeves. This is actually an improvement because Blokees lower arm pieces usually come in a single color. The famous Wakanda shields are the forearm attachments, which make a lot of sense but forces you to keep them on the figurine. Finally, this Cap has closed fists that come in a dark shade of brown. This brown is much darker than what the Series 01 Captain America has so swapping parts isn’t seamless.

From the waist down, Blokees Captain America has several color inaccuracies. His belt does have pouches and a buckle, but it is in plain brown. The buckle should’ve been in silver and the pouches in a darker color. The upper legs have decals in front that represent the red lining of the actual costume. The Blokees version of Cap has the boots going all the way up to the knee, which is inaccurate. The kneecaps should’ve been in blue, and there should’ve been a little more blue on the lower legs.

Blokees Captain America back

The back side of Blokees Captain America is pretty straightforward. His back has the same texture engraved on the chest, with the belt straps coming together via silver links. The rest are absent of any other decals or patterns.

It is worth noting that Blokees Captain America has the upgraded knee joints, making him taller than Series 01 figures and most of the “large” figures in the Infinity Saga line.

Conclusion

To be honest, the Blokees Captain America from Infinity Saga Series 03 is the type of figurine that I dislike: one that references a version of a character that only appears briefly and in only one film. However, Cap is in this costume for the entire run of Avengers: Infinity War (with the shields coming later in the film). And the Infinity War battles are the most fun to recreate with these figurines.

Despite the color inaccuracies, this version of Cap looks pretty good. The costume captures most of the necessary details. The face is well sculpted with good looking decals for the eyes. And the errors and missing details are not glaring. So yes, I highly recommend this figure to anyone interested in collecting Marvel figurines.
