I started playing this little mobile game called Marvel Snap since March 2023 (the Days of Future Past season) and I’ve been quite hooked since! I hit Infinite Rank by my fourth season. I’ve hit Infinite rank multiple times since then, each one with a different deck. Since Marvel Snap is a live service game that is undergoing continuous development, the competition continues to evolve. New cards get introduced in the game, and existing cards can sometimes be changed for better or for worse. As time goes by, these old decks may see significant changes. I’ve decided to write about these decks since I’m a sentimental guy and I want to capture these moments. For October 2024, the Season Pass card helped me get to Infinite with Agent Darkhawk!
Deck Details
Infinite Deck Name: Agent Darkhawk
Season Used: We Are Venom (October 2024)
Card List: Spider-Ham, Korg, Nico Minorur, White Widow, Jeff, Agent Venom, Cassandra Nova, Mystique, Cosmo, Rock Slide, Iron Man, Darkhawk
Win Condition: Outpower opponent with the Darkhawk package using Agent Venom to boost Power.
Card Roles:
- Spider-Ham – Cheap early disruption.
- Korg – Makes Darkhawk more powerful. Good synergy with Cassandra Nova.

- White Widow – To get priority early.
- Jeff! – Can move into/be played on restricted locations.
- Agent Venom – Changes Power of cards still in your deck to 4.
- Cassandra Nova – Anti-Arishem tech. Good synergy with Rocks.
- Mystique – For copying Darkhawk, Iron Man, or Cosmo.
- Cosmo – Anti-On Reveal tech. Great against some deck archetypes.

- Iron Man – Doubles Power at his location.
- Darkhawk – The main source of Power for the deck.
Key Card Strategies
The Agent and the Hawk: I named the deck Agent Darkhawk because of these two. Agent Venom is best used with below 4 Power cards, so every card in this deck benefits from him. While Darkhawk only gets 1 more base Power, his best friends Korg and Rock Slide will also get boosted. Darkhawk is this deck’s heavy hitter, especially during this season when Arishem was quite prevalent.
Flexible Ladies: Nico Minoru offers a lot of options in this deck with the drawback of having a random effect every turn. But with some luck, Nico can help you draw more cards, give Power boosts, or turn your low-cost cards into 6 Power Demons that can be played with your 5-Costs on Turn 6. Mystique copies Ongoing abilities and she’s got three good ones to copy from in this deck. She can act as a second Darkhawk (especially with an Agent Venom boost), Iron Man, or even a second Cosmo for you.
Zero to Hero: Cassandra Nova and Iron Man really benefit from Agent Venom’s effect. On her own, Cassandra Nova is a 7 Power card when played on Turn 3 against non-Thanos/non-Arishem decks, getting less Power as your opponent draws cards. That becomes 11 Power with Agent Venom. Meanwhile, a boost from Agent Venom means Iron Man can give you 8 Power all on his own. Combined with other cards, he can really go tall.
Other Notes: Korg and Rock Slide are there for Darkhawk and can give Cassandra Nova extra Power through their rocks. White Widow and Jeff are solid 2-Cost cards. Cosmo and Spider-Ham are great tech and disruption options.
Deck Evolution
What’s Changed in This Deck? This deck got really hammered with changes. The Widow’s Kiss from White Widow was changed to a card that gets destroyed when its location is filled, reducing its effectiveness. Agent Venom gained 1 Power recently, but his ability now only sets cards to 3 Power, lowering the overall Power contribution. And the most painful change was Rock Slide changing from a 3/3 to a 4/5.
Conclusion
What I liked about the Agent Darkhawk deck was how it didn’t rely on playing Agent Venom on Turn 2. The Darkhawk package offered a solid win condition without the Season Pass card, allowing plenty of room for tech and other useful tools. Agent Venom just makes the whole deck a lot more effective. However, the Agent Venom change has probably reduced this deck’s overall effectiveness. The deck strategy is still solid but I’d imagine that it would be harder to get to Infinite with this deck now thanks to the changes that I mentioned plus the emergence of new strategies in the weeks after I had reached Infinite.
