Marvel Snap – My December 2024 Infinite Deck – Wiccan Wolf

Written by thegaminggeek

I started playing this little mobile game called Marvel Snap since March 2023 (the Days of Future Past season) and I’ve been quite hooked since! I hit Infinite Rank by my fourth season. I’ve hit Infinite rank multiple times since then, each one with a different deck. Since Marvel Snap is a live service game that is undergoing continuous development, the competition continues to evolve. New cards get introduced in the game, and existing cards can sometimes be changed for better or for worse. As time goes by, these old decks may see significant changes. I’ve decided to write about these decks since I’m a sentimental guy and I want to capture these moments. For December 2024, a deck I call Wiccan Wolf got me to Infinite!

  4. Fenris Wolf – Synergy with Shang-Chi, Negasonic, and Gladiator.
  5. Kate Bishop – Generates Arrows to help ensure spending all your Energy on Turn 3.
  6. Negasonic Teenage Warhead – For destroying cards. Synergy with Fenris Wolf.
  7. Red Guardian – Tech card.
  8. Gladiator – High Power card that can destroy opposing cards. Synergy with Fenris Wolf.
  9. Shang-Chi – Tech against high Power cards. Synergy with Fenris Wolf.

Key Card Strategies

Wiccan Do It: I call this deck Wiccan Wolf because Wiccan is the first important piece. He gives a great advantage if you’re able to spend all your Energy in the first three turns, and he’s got a high Power for a 4-cost card too. To help meet Wiccan’s requirements, we have Quicksilver and four 2-cost cards in the deck. Kate Bishop’s Arrows will help you accomplish this and give you additional cards to play later on with Wiccan’s ability.

Go Fetch: Fenris Wolf is the second key piece of the Wiccan Wolf deck. It will allow you to steal one of your enemy’s cards, but you have to get it discarded or destroyed first. This is why we included three cards with destroy abilities. Shang-Chi can get you a high Power card if your opponent plays it early on Turn 5, or if you manage to react to it on Turn 6. Gladiator can also help get you a card for Fenris Wolf to fetch later on.

Turn 5 Trouble: If you have priority on Turn 5 and you have Daredevil in play, you can surprise opponents by playing Negasonic Teenage Warhead as a reaction to their Turn 5 play. This is a great way to get one of your opponent’s cards for Fenris Wolf.

Other Notes: Red Hulk and Gorr are simply high Power finishers for this deck. They can easily be replaced by other high Power cards like Magneto.

Deck Evolution

What’s Changed in This Deck? As of this writing, none!

Conclusion

I’m really happy to have made it to Infinite using the Wiccan Wolf deck. It was really fun to play and I was able to use five different cards that haven’t been in my previous Infinite decks too. However, I haven’t spent any more time with it since getting to Infinite. I can’t really say if it can hang with the rest of the top meta decks (especially against Doom 2099). It never felt like there was a really broken card or combo in the deck so I’m pretty sure this deck will be safe from any nerfs in the near future.

If you’re reading this and the Marvel Rivals season isn’t over yet, try the deck out! Maybe it’ll help get you to Infinite before the season ends.
