Marvel Snap – My 2023 Infinite Decks!

I started playing this little mobile game called Marvel Snap since March 2023 (the Days of Future Past season) and I’ve been quite hooked since! I hit Infinite Rank by my fourth season. I’ve hit Infinite rank multiple times since then, each one with a different deck. Let’s take a look at each Infinite deck that I used in 2023!

Spider-Versus Season (June 2023)

Deck Name: Sera Surfer

Infinite Deck - Sera Surfer

Comments: I will always have a special place in my heart for the deck that got me my first Infinite rank. I never expected to hit Infinite (this was only my 4th season) but when I unlocked Silver Surfer, I had enough tools for a competitive deck. The Sera Surfer archetype is still viable but current decks look completely different now.

Rise of the Phoenix (July 2023)

Deck Name: Kang the Snapbluffer / DestOrka

infinite deck - kang the snapbluffer

Comments: I still can’t believe that a deck with Kang the Conqueror took me to Infinite!  This was a tweaked version of Bynx’s DestOrka deck, so the main players here are Orka and Destroyer. This deck was really grindy, but I liked getting 1 Cube wins thanks to some Kang bluffs. Definitely an off-meta deck.

Big in Japan (August 2023)

Deck Name: Wong OnReveal

Infinite Deck - Wong OnReveal

Comments: This is a deck that gave me a lot of Cubes when Kamar-Taj was a hot location. Playing Echo on Turn 1 on Kamar-Taj invalidated Cosmo and Armor, but Rogue and Enchantress were still a pain to deal with. This deck is definitely not viable enough without Kamar-Taj but I’ll take any roads to Infinite, even a cheap easy path.

Loki For All Time (September 2023)

Deck Name: Shuri Sauron

Shuri Sauron deck

Comments: My second meta deck. Alioth was releasing and I knew Shuri Sauron was predictable so I really made an effort to get to Infinite the day Alioth was released. This deck was really dominant during it’s time for several seasons. Despite only having one major nerf (Taskmaster, which happened months after), this deck slowly lost its place on top of the Marvel Snap hill.

Bloodstone (October 2023)

Deck Name: Move Them

The MoveThem deck.

Comments: Another off-meta deck. I don’t know why this deck worked but it did. I used Move cards to build a Power advantage heading into Turn 6, then let Alioth or Magneto seal the victory. Messing up the opponent’s positioning was quite fun! This was the first of many decks with Alioth that took me to Infinite.

Higher, Further, Faster (November 2023)

Deck Name: Grey Guardians

The Grey Guardians

Comments: Professor X was a menace back then! This is another fun Control deck that really forced opponents to play where you want them to play. I’m glad that I was able to use Drax in a deck that got to Infinite, which probably won’t happen again. Alioth makes his second appearance in an Infinite deck.

Hellfire Gala (December 2023)

Name: InSheNaut

inshenaut deck

Comments: I ended the year one of the most popular meta decks in 2023: InSheNaut. This is the only deck that I’ve used to get to Infinite with only 1 changed card. Leech got nerfed hard, but the rest of the cards in this deck remains unchanged.
